DSH YT Niche Evaluator Privacy Policy

DSH YT Niche Evaluator is provided by Dastgeer Software House through LashariSoft. This policy explains what information the extension sends to us, why it is needed, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Permission before use

The extension does not send research data to DSH servers until you choose **Agree and continue**.

If you do not agree, the private scoring service remains unavailable. You can remove the extension without sending research data to us.

Information handled by the service

After you agree, the extension may send and store:

– A random installation identifier
– The consent version and acceptance time
– Extension version and basic sync status
– Niche names entered in the evaluator
– Query research captured through an action you start
– Competitor research captured through an action you start
– YouTube video and channel identifiers, public statistics, titles, dates, and related research evidence
– Search volume, competition, trend, and other fields you select
– Scores, classifications, diagnoses, and decisions produced by the evaluator
– Technical errors required to complete or protect a sync

The extension does not monitor unrelated browsing. It does not send pages, passwords, private messages, payment information, or form contents outside the DSH YT Niche Evaluator workflow.

How we use the information

We use the information to:

– Retrieve the public YouTube information required for the research
– Calculate and return scores, classifications, and decisions
– Create and update the evaluator spreadsheet you choose to use with the extension
– Keep research records synchronized across evaluator actions
– Prevent misuse, protect the service, and investigate failures
– Improve the accuracy, speed, and reliability of the product

Authorized DSH team members may access this information only to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Google Drive and Google Sheets access

The extension requests the `drive.file` permission. This lets it create and update only the Google Drive files you create with the extension or explicitly open with it.

The extension does not request access to all files in your Google Drive. Google access tokens are used for the requested spreadsheet action and are not sold.

Use of information received from Google APIs follows the [Google API Services User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

YouTube API information

The service uses the YouTube Data API to retrieve public video and channel information needed for user-started research.

YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted as required by the YouTube API Services Terms and Developer Policies. Where YouTube approves longer storage of statistical or derived metrics, those records are retained only for the permitted period.

Retention and deletion

Research records are retained while needed to provide the evaluator and maintain its history, unless a shorter period is required by an applicable Google or YouTube policy.

You may request deletion at any time. Email `contact@lasharisoft.com` with the installation ID shown in the extension. We may ask for limited information needed to verify and complete the request.

When a valid deletion request is completed, associated research records are deleted or anonymized unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information or research records.

Information may be processed by infrastructure providers that help us host, secure, and operate the service. It may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or during a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, restricted secrets, service logging, and other reasonable safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may decline permission, uninstall the extension, revoke Google access through your Google Account, or request deletion of stored service data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the product, legal requirements, or connected services change. The effective date at the top will be updated. Material changes requiring renewed permission will be shown before additional research data is sent.
